The Royal Guernsey Agricultural Show

His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell went to Saumarez Park to meet the animals.

The wonderful weather made for a very popular and enjoyable Royal Agriculture and Horticultural and Show held annually at Saumarez Park.

The Lieutenant-Governor and Mrs Cripwell enjoyed and a local ice-cream as they wondered around the park enjoying the wonderful display of Guernsey cows, horses, sheep and goats before awarding the many cups and prizes to the winners.

Fun Fact: The patron of this particular society is actually Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II so it is especially fitting for His Excellency to present the awards as Her Majesty's representative on the Island.
