The Rotary Club of Guernsey turns 100
To celebrate this milestone birthday His Excellency hosted a reception at Government House.
In it's 100 years, the Rotary Club of Guernsey has achieved so much for our Island Community and are are using this opportunity of their centenary year to commemorate and celebrate their heritage and services to the community and to further raise awareness of what they doing and how much more can still be done.
His Excellency, as an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club was very happy to have a chance to meet so many key members of this excellent charity in a reception that invited media and sponsors and members of the rotary Club Committee.
The new President, Brian Acton gave a speech reflecting on the achievements of their recent years and His Excellency followed it up with a vote of thanks for all they do for the community.
