The Nerine Festival with Plant Heritage

Mrs Cripwell went to have a look at the nerines at their greenhouse at Guernsey Gardens.

Mrs Cripwell is the patron of Plant Heritage, and last year was presented with a nerine (pictured right) named after her.

This year, she visited accompanied by the GH Head Gardener, Brett, and spent time talking with Andrew Lanoe who is chairman of the Nerine Festival and vice president of Plant heritage.

Mrs Cripwell also talked a lot with Rob Jehan who works hard for the Nerines, spending two mornings a week doing repotting and also takes a lot of photographs.

It has been another successful festival with lots of plants sold and many more people introduced to the beautiful world of the Guernsey Lily.
