RGLI Consecration of Colours

The RGLI are pleased to announce the newly remade RGLI Colour is now completed in the traditional fashion and material and have arrived to their new home in Guernsey. 

At 11am on Saturday 29th November the RGLI will host a dedicated Service of Blessing & Commemoration at the Town Church (the Regimental Chapel). 

The historic event will be led by the Dean of Guernsey, The Very Reverend Tim Barker, in which the newly blessed replicated Regimental Colour will be then be received by His Excellency. 

Immediately afterwards they will be presented before a Military Parade & Band in Church Square, including Guernsey's other standards and members of the public and then marching to the RGLI memorial at the Sunken Gardens.
