Reception for the Saffrey Rotary Walk

The Walk is one of the island’s most popular and inclusive charity events which took place this year on Saturday, June 7th. A record-breaking 1,200+ participants took part in the main event and the 'accessible side routes'. 

For many people, this a huge personal achievement that they will only do once, for some it is a team building opportunity to celebrate their success with work colleagues and for others it is part of their regular annual activities. But for all the walkers, it is also an opportunity to give their support to the 25 local charities who will gain from their achievements. 

The  reception at Government House is also an annual event as. His Excellency is patron of the Saffery Rotary Walk and is very happy to host the reception for charities to collect their cheques and begin spending their pennies.
