His Excellency with Natalie Davidson seeing off the charity cyclists from Government House .

The charity cycle ride to Aquitaine has been thwarted by covid not just once, but twice and finally departed the island on the 10th June.

His Excellency met the 44 cyclists and sent them off from Government House with a few words of encouragement and a great deal of thanks for their incredible fund-raising efforts.  

The Mule Aquitaine is their fourth cycling jaunt to France, which has raised money for local charities that support children, adults and young people with learning and physical difficulties.

The combined total they have raised so far is a staggering £160,000 and Mule Aquitaine is will hopefully put them to the £200,000 mark. If you want to read more or to make a donation, you can follow this link to their webpage.
