Musical Youth

The Guernsey Music Centre is run by the Guernsey Music Service and provides classes, both individual and group, to more than a thousand young people in the island. They form a number of smaller bands alongside the Youth Orchestra which caters for all kinds of instruments and musicians at all levels. 

His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell had the opportunity to hear both the Youth Orchestra and the Youth choir and and were incredibly impressed with the standard of talent and the obvious dedication to their music that they saw. The Lieutenant-Governor and his wife and have found themselves 'blown away' by the sheer volume of artistic talent on the island and this was yet another example of just how high our bar is set.
