GVS Long Service Awards

As patron of the GVS, Mrs Cripwell was delighted to be asked to present the awards for Long Service, giving her a chance to meet more of the wonderful volunteers who give of their time so freely to helping with the activities of the GVS. 

There were 30 recipients in total who have amassed an impressive number of years of service from Bronze Awards at 10 years, right through to those receiving a platinum award for 30 dedicated years of service. 

The range of duties include volunteering at Jubilee and Russels Social Clubs, transporting clients to and from the Social Clubs, helping at flag days and fundraising and Blood Donor Calling alongside the very successful Meals on Wheels Scheme.
