Guernsey Choral & Orchstral Society Concert

The Lieutenant-Governor was a guest at The Spirit of Rutter concert at St James 

His Excellency is patron of GCOS and he was pleased to be able to attend this special concert at St James. He and Mrs Cripwell are frequent visitors to many of the music events around the island, enjoying a wide variety of cultural programmes. 

John Rutter was a British composer and conductor of choral music and GCOS performed a musical programme including “Requiem”, “Choral Fanfare” and “Feel the Spirit”, and featuring talented local soprano soloist, Laura Oxburgh alongside their mixed choir of about 80 singers and orchestra.
