Giving Opportunities

GO is a social enterprise that focuses primarily on providing training and support to disadvantaged people in Guernsey but aims to do this in a financially self-sustaining way by providing recycling and retail service.

As their new patron, His Excellency was also asked to officially open their new premises at the fully kitted GO Shop and retraining facility at Southside on the Bridge.

His Excellency commented:

“I am delighted to take up the role of Patron for GO, a charity that assists disadvantaged people in Guernsey.  The work they undertake in the community to develop the skills and confidence of individuals to find fulfilling employment is to be greatly admired and something I strongly support”
