Cheshire Home Pancake Fundraiser

The annual fundraiser for the Cheshire Homes was back again on Shrove Tuesday and the Lieutenant-Governor was keenly awaiting the opportunity to show of his skills with a frying pan!

The Guernsey Cheshire Home says it has one aim: to provide care and opportunity for people with serious physical disabilities in as close to a family atmosphere as possible, providing a home to those who need constant care and are unable to live in their own home. 

There were lots of people at the Town Church, all happy to part with their pennies for such a great cause and some were even treated to this little display.
