Celebration Tea Parties

His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell have been holding Afternoon Tea at Government House for those islanders who have recently celebrated a 60th, 65th or a 70th Wedding Anniversary. 

If you or a family member is due to celebrate any of these big events in the next year and would like to receive a card from the King and Queen as well as being invited for tea at Government House, please do get in touch with us here at Government House.

We have ten couples coming for tea in the second of our round of tea parties, and the Lieutenant-Governor, Lady Cripwell and some of the staff very much enjoy spending time eating cake and talking with some of the older members of our community, hearing them reminisce about Guernsey and their lives, ask questions about the enigma of Government House and just enjoy the time focussed around them.
