Bright Beginnings Children's Charity

They were met by CEO Lisa Blondel, Chair of Bright Beginnings, Rachel Copeland BEM and four other members of their board who were keen for the Lieutenant-Governor and Mrs Cripwell to see their facilities at the Delancey Campus.

They met staff who showed them around the centre and were introduced to some of the families who were at the 'Stay and Play' session being run at the time. Parent involvement is very much encouraged and targeted support is provided in these crucial early formative years, providing a well-rounded skill set to give them the best start possible.

Alongside the staff at the centres, there is plenty of opportunity for volunteering within the Bright Beginnings family, running the café and providing support to parents and carers at the group and creche facilities.

His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell were very grateful for the invitation and hugely impressed with the commitment to providing that support to families for the first 1001 days of a child's life, from conception to 2 years old.
