A Flying visit to St Paul's
His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell represented the Bailiwick at the Platinum Jubilee National Service of Thanksgiving on June 3rd.
St Paul's Cathedral was the site of this historic service for The Queen's reign as part of the four day Bank Holiday Weekend in the UK.
The Lieutenant-Governor and Mrs Cripwell joined representatives from all over the commonwealth and members of the Royal Family at the service chosen by The Queen.
Afterwards they were invited to attend the reception at the Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor of London.
Guernsey Trivia: For those who don't know, the steps of St Paul's Cathedral were built using granite quarried from Crevichon, the islet between Jethou and Herm .
