75th Anniversary Tea for the Guernsey Voluntary Service

Mrs Cripwell hosted an Afternoon Tea for the longest serving volunteers at Government House

As patron of the Guernsey Voluntary Service, Mrs Cripwell was thrilled to be able to offer an afternoon of tea and cake and good conversation to members of the GVS in this year when they are celebrating 75 years of the GVS. Their guests included volunteers who have given their time so generously and have accumulated 30 years of service, alongside some of their staff and Team GVS.

There was a fabulous array of cakes to tempt the guests and Mrs Cripwell and GVS Chair Sally Wilkinson  were lavish in their praise of the work undertaken by the volunteers and over the last thirty years. A toast was raised, buckets of tea and mountains of cakes were consumed.
