GROW celebrates 35 years

On Tuesday 8th October, His Excellency and Lady Corder hosted a reception in the Ballroom at Government House for supporters of GROW Limited (Guernsey's Rural Occupational Workshop) to celebrate their 35 year anniversary and to hear of future plans for the organisation.

GROW provides training and a sheltered working environment in GROW 2019 HE Displays a larger version of this image in a new browser windowhorticulture for people with learning disabilities and currently has around 25 "Crew" working with them at their site in La Ramee.  During the evening Mark Dunster, GROW's Chairman, showcased proposals for an updated facility to allow, in addition to the opportunities offered currently, up to 50 people to engage in training and employment in woodworking, retail and hospitality.
