The Healthy Schools programme supports and strengthens the schools PSHCE curriculum and enables the school to audit its practice and celebrate the work they are doing to develop young peoples health and wellbeing. Both staff and pupils have worked extremely hard to promote and embrace a healthy life style with many innovative approaches such as developing the opportunities for outdoor learning which Lady Corder had to the opportunity to witness first hand.

Commenting on her visit, Lady Corder said 'The Healthy Schools programme is rolling out rapidly accross the Bailiwick's schools and it is really encouraging to see the manner in which the island's children are embracing its key messages and actively enhancing their lifestyles as a result. Well done to Vale Primary for being the lastest school to achieve this important milestone'.
