Wellbeing Animals Guernsey
WAG provides animal assisted support to bring therapeutic benefit to people of all ages and in a variety of situations.
Sharing a few minutes with a friendly animal can stimulate a range of benefits such as helping communication, an antidote to depression, lowering stress levels, helping to share emotions or bringing comfort and laughter to people who are feeling lonely or distressed. WAG volunteers and their dogs regularly visit wards at the hospital, residential and care homes, and day centres - all part of an holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
