As part of the evening The Lieutenant-Governor presented Chief Scouts awards to adult scout leaders who had completed 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and, in the case of three very special scout leaders, 50 years of service!  The three 'veterens' who had each completed over half a century 'around the campfire' were Mr Ryall Le Tissier, Mrs Juliet Carre, and Mrs Phyllis Ogier.  Sir Ian remarked that it was an extraordinary achievement and expressed his thanks to all the voluteers who gave up so much of their time to support the scouting movement within the Bailiwick.

Also as part of the evening His Excellency and the Bailiwick Commissioner of Scouts Mr Nick Paluch presented 5 new Scout Leaders with their 'Wood Badge' awards on completion of their scout leaders training.
