Jack was ill for the school's main award ceremony at Government House in June so he was invited to a special individual presentation of his own.

To gain his award Jack was part of a team that helped raise funds towards the purchase of an automated external defibrillator for Herm Island, he learnt to make films using iMovie including a promotional video for the Everest Challange, he attended regular gym sessions at Beau Sejour to improve his flexibility and stamina and his swimming skills and, of course, he completed the famous DofE expedition including overnight camping.

Jack said that it had been very hard to complete the award, especially the expedition, but that he was really proud of what he has achieved.
