Lady Corder visits Herm with Le Rondin School

On another lovely sunny morning, whilst waiting to board the ferry, each child was given a Rotary rucksack containing a bucket and spade, a baseball cap, colouring book and crayons. Once on the island, the children spent time on the beach in front of the White House building sandcastles and playing games.

They then walked to the Mermaid where they had lunch followed by an ice cream.  To round off the day the children participated in a singalong before heading to catch the ferry back to Guernsey.  Lady Corder said that she had enjoyed the day immensely especially seeing the children having such a wonderful time.  It was yet another example of Guernsey's excellent charity work with the event funded by Rotary Guernesiais who also organised the volunteer support.
