On a gloriously sunny day, the girls, all aged 5 to 7, took part in a variety of activities including parachute and ball games, a treasure hunt, and a visit to Herm's famous gift shop. They had a picnic on Fisherman's Beach and finished off the day with an ice-cream at the Mermaid.

At the end of the trip, Lady Corder presented all the girls with a special badge to mark the event.  The badge was designed in a special colouring competition by Isobel Otty from 18th Deslisles Rainbows who was presented with a prize and the Island Rainbow Shield.

Lady Corder said that 'She had enjoyed the day immensely and that all the girls had obviously had a great time on Herm'.  In particular she paid tribute to all the Leaders who had 'planned the trip immaculately and given up their weekend to make it such a huge success'.
