Sir Ian and Lady Corder were hosted by Patrick Palmer (Chairman) and shown around by Darren Brehaut who has been GROW's assistant manager for the past 3 years.  They were able to see all the growing facilities and a colourful and impressive array of spring plants ready for sale this spring.  GROW specialises in providing training and sheltered work in horticulture and related craft industries for people with learning disabilitiesPaul with his new Gunners shirt Displays a larger version of this image in a new browser window

After touring the facilities, Sir Ian presented Paul with his birthday and retirement cards and a very special gift of a customised Arsenal shirt with the number 65 on its back under Paul's own surname.  Paul has been a long-time 'Gunners' supporter.

Staff and workers then closed the visit by presenting Sir Ian and Lady Corder with a splendid tub of strawberry plants and some freshly grown potatoes for the Government House kitchen.
